Itinerary

How it runs

  • Day 1, 07:00Pickup in Tirana, drive north toward Theth (~3.5 hrs — paved most of the way, rougher for the final stretch).
  • Day 1, 11:00Arrive Theth, settle into a guesthouse.
  • Day 1, 12:30Lunch, then a walk to the Blue Eye spring and Grunas waterfall.
  • Day 1, 19:00Dinner at the guesthouse — early night, long day tomorrow.
  • Day 2, 06:30Early breakfast, start the hike toward Valbonë Pass.
  • Day 2, 11:30Reach Valbonë Pass (1,795m) — the high point of the trek, with views down both valleys.
  • Day 2, 15:00Arrive Valbonë village.
  • Day 2, 16:00Drive back toward Tirana (via Bajram Curri and Fierzë, ~4–4.5 hrs).
